Intel launches new chip called Gaudi 2 focused on artificial intelligence (AI) computing
Considering that most AI-related companies are accustomed to using CUDA, Nvidia’s software platform, and it is difficult to secure market share, Intel is said to be concentrating on AI chip development and related software development.
Sandra Rivera, head of data and AI at Intel, predicts that the AI chip market will grow by approximately 25% annually over the next five years to approximately $50 billion “We will make more investments, including acquisitions of other companies.”
