Google announced that it is collaborating with BlackRock, the world’s largest asset company, to develop a new 1 gigawatt (GW) solar energy project in Taiwan. It will invest capital in Taiwanese solar developer New Green Power as part of efforts to add renewable energy to Taiwan’s local power grid and reduce carbon emissions amid the artificial intelligence (AI) boom.
