Google DeepMind testing AI tool

DeepMind, Google’s main AI division, is said to be developing at least 21 tools for life advice, planning and guidance using generative AI. Despite the potential benefits, some AI safety experts express concerns about users relying on AI advice, which could negatively impact well-being and empowerment.

Google has reportedly contracted with Scale AI, a $7.3 billion startup focused on training and validating artificial intelligence software, for testing. These tools are not used for therapeutic purposes and have limitations due to controversies surrounding the use of artificial intelligence in the medical field.
