Google Cloud has unveiled Vertex AI (Vertex AI Search Platform), a new AI-based search feature that helps healthcare workers quickly retrieve accurate clinical information from a variety of medical record types. This function is expected to save medical workers’ time and energy by searching for scattered patient disease and treatment record information and finding it in one place. Google Cloud added that search information will be provided based on information pulled directly from internal data, and that there are expected to be fewer concerns about the AI causing hallucinations or generating inaccurate responses.
