Google announced a policy to restrict the indiscriminate access and use of app usage records on Android devices by third parties using users’ advertising IDs to protect users’ privacy.
-Advertising ID is a unique value assigned to the smartphone terminal and contains the user’s app activity record.
-Similar to the privacy policy Apple created in April last year to allow users to choose whether or not to disclose their usage history.
-Google plans to offer a beta version of its Privacy Sandbox for Android by the end of the year, allowing advertisers to tailor targeted advertising while preserving privacy.
