GM to Launch Tesla Superchargers in North America

About 15 months after General Motors announced that it would adopt Tesla’s Supercharger network, NACS (North American Charging Standard), owners of GM electric vehicles including Chevrolet, Cadillac, and GMC vehicles can now use 17,800 Tesla Superchargers. Owners of GM electric vehicles can purchase GM-approved adapters to charge at Tesla Superchargers using the adapters. In addition, it is said that future GM electric vehicles will be equipped with charging ports for Tesla Superchargers. Meanwhile, Ford became the first automaker to adopt NACS about 18 months ago, signing a contract with Tesla to provide Tesla Supercharger network to its electric vehicle owners. Since then, major brands such as GM, Rivian, and Hyundai have adopted NACS, gradually expanding the accessibility of Tesla’s Supercharger network.
